ArtClvb hosts Ellen Sherman's Solo Exhibit "Layers" in Ann Arbor

ArtClvb is partnering with Bamboo Ann Arbor to host a special six week long art exhibit, titled LAYERS.

LAYERS is a collection of new work that is experimental and all about discovery. Through a process of creation and destruction, Ellen seeks to find movement and meaning from disjointed parts.

The pop-up art gallery will be available across Bamboo Ann Arbor for six weeks, with the opening date this Friday, April 4th.

Ellen Sherman is visual artist working in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who graduated from Michigan State University with a BFA in Studio Art. Her work can be found in galleries around the world.

More about Ellen Sherman

Ellen Sherman is an abstract visual artist working out of Ann Arbor Michigan. She graduated with her BFA in Studio Art from Michigan State University in 2008 and has been a full time artist since 2011. Ellen’s practice is rooted in renewal and re-invention, using paintings she cuts apart and reassembles to address these themes. She is inspired by rhythms, colors and movement found in nature, and the balancing act between moments planned and unplanned in her work. Her work can be found in collections throughout the US, Canada and Japan.
